At Onslow Pediatric Associates, we love your children and treat them as if they were our own. Our goal is to provide comprehensive, up-to-date, state of the art pediatric care in a friendly and warm environment. We want you and your child to feel that you are part of our family!  We achieved Level 3 PCMH recognition in 2017 to show our commitment to Quality Care for all of our patients. Our providers are board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and adhere to the rigorous standards of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Our services include well-child care from newborn to young adults through college graduation, including sports physicals, camp physicals, cheerleading physicals, college physicals, and many others. We are experienced in the care of premature infants and children with multiple disabilities, as well as children with genetic disorders and chronic diseases, and we coordinate their care with specialists throughout our state and beyond. We have Co-Management agreements in place with Carolina Psychological Health Services(910-347-3010) and JZ Mann Pediatric Therapy(910-347-2212). We hope to continue to create more with other behavioral health clinics and specialists in Eastern North Carolina. We have an outstanding asthma program that has been recognized by North Carolina as one of the finest in our state. We also have extensive training and experience in the care of children with learning disabilities, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and autism. Prior to age three we also help children maintain healthy teeth and gums by providing fluoride varnishes to protect them.
Our providers also specialize in the care of sick children and infants for which we have become well known, and currently, we have relationships with all hospitals nearby. Our providers are on staff and admit to Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
Our office has been designated a teaching facility for medical students, nursing students, and physicians assistants. These students are from East Carolina University School of medicine, ECU physician assistant school, and the ECU school of nursing. We also have students from Wake Forest University School of medicine and UNC Chapel Hill School of medicine. We also train pediatric nurse practitioner students as well as family nurse practitioner students from UNC Wilmington.
